Introducing the new Lowel EGO LED, the first production light attractive enough to double as a desk lamp. The Lowel EGO LED improves on the original Ego but now featuring powerful bi-colour LEDs. The benefits include fully adjustable colour temperature, flicker free dimming, low heat emission, and no replacement bulbs.

The Lowel EGO LED creates a beautiful, diffused soft light for photographers, videographers, online streamers, makeup artists, and business professionals. Soft light makes people and objects look their best. Whether photographing portraits, still life, products for sale and collectables, or creating video for in-house productions, desktop publishing, social media, and streaming, the Lowel EGO LED puts you and your subjects in a better light. Even makeup artists and video conferencing can benefit from the soft, beautiful light of the Lowel EGO LED.

Tabletop Lighting

Place the Lowel EGO LED on the table to the right or left of the subject. Experiment with position and tilt angle to get the best results. For more even lighting across the subject, try using a large white card as a bounce reflector on the opposite side of the light.

Portrait Lighting

With a seated subject, experiment by placing Lowel EGO LED on a tabletop tripod, floor standing tripod, or light stand to elevate the light source so that it is even or higher than face level. Using 2 or 3 Lowel EGO LED fixtures to light the subject from both sides and the rear will provide better results.
Video Lighting
 
Position the Lowel EGO LED to one side of a phone, tablet, laptop or computer monitor and experiment with placement to avoid glare. Adjust the brightness and colour to compliment the ambient lighting and skin tone.
