STEADICAM® SILVER WORKSHOP – November 29 - December 1 2022 (Tuesday - Thursday)

Venue Details:

IMPORTANT – Arriving on Tuesday, November 29th 2022

The workshop will start at 10.00am promptly. Please aim to arrive by 09.45am. If you are staying please check in earlier.

If you are unable to make the workshop you MUST inform us by no later than the 1st November 2022, or you will not be entitled to a refund.

Dates and times:

  • Tuesday 29th November 2022 at 10.00am prompt through to approximately 18:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 30th November 2022 at 09.30am through to approximately 18:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, 1st December at 09.30am through to approximately 17:00 p.m.

What is included:

  1. All instruction and use of equipment provided for the workshop.
  2. Light working buffet lunch
  3. Tea, coffee and water throughout the day.

What is not included:

  1. Accommodation
  2. Main Evening Meals
  3. Transport between your hotel and the venue, if you are not staying at the venues facilities. Free Parking is available at the venue.
  4. Transport from any airport or station.

What to bring:

  1. Normal working clothes including suitable footwear (cross trainers or similar).Noting the time of year, please bring appropriate outdoor attire too. 
  2. Heeled shoes are not suitable and we will refuse you to participate until appropriate footwear is found.
  3. Toiletries including plenty of deodorant (!).
  4. Antibacterial hand gel would be appreciated.
  5. Notebooks, pens and pencils.
  6. A Flysteadicam Notebook, Pen and T-Shirt will be provided as part of your course fee.
  7. Face Covering (in case of any government advice for group activities).

Workshop Etiquette

  1. Safety is paramount, it is vital to pay attention to instructors at all times, their word is the law and final.
  2. Equipment should be treated with respect as if it is your own at all times.
  3. Always be mindful and respectful of other students, you will need to work together for the maximum learning opportunities
  4. Do not allow your enthusiasm to photograph or record the event and interfere with other students participation or your own concentration.
  5. We do not allow any footage of the specific training techniques of our workshops to be shared on public accessible video content sites or social media.
  6. Drinking and drug taking during training sessions will not be tolerated and will result in exclusion from the workshop with no refund.
  7. Tiffen staff and instructors reserve the right to exclude any student at any point without refund.

The venue location is The Bull Hotel Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire SL9 7PA

We will host the workshop in the Buckingham Suite conference rooms.

From the north via M25/M40 by car

From M25 either direction, Take Junction 16 following signs towards The North, Oxford, Birmingham.

From the M40 Northbound take Junction 2 towards Beaconsfield. At the take the signs for Gerrards Cross. The hotel complex will be on your right.

Trains from London: Marylebone Station (Chiltern Line) to Gerrards Cross or Beaconsfield. You will need a taxi from either station to the venue.

TFL London Underground (Tube): There is no approximate tube station near the venue.

From Heathrow by train:

Take the Heathrow Express to Central London then follow the above instructions to the nearest train station.

Local Hotels

Your accommodation is not included in the price of the workshop.

If you decide to stay at the venue, Quote “Steadicam Workshop and the dates” to receive the best available rate. Please ensure you contact the hotel directly. We are not block booking any rooms on your behalf, nor are responsible for any incurred fees.

Alternatively There are a number of local hotels and B&B’s in the area. We’ve included a few details of hotels in the locality that you may want to contact. The hotel venue is a little remote so do remember to factor average taxi charges if you decide to stay elsewhere. Assume approximately £10 each way.
