About the workshop:
The Gold Workshop is a 5 1/2 day total immersion experience for students from raw beginners to experienced operator wishing to improve their techniques.
We use the larger rigs from the M-Series and while we base the first section of the workshop around the Tiffen Steadicam Short Course syllabus we then move on to more complex shot building and sophisticated techniques including the use of vehicles and other moving platforms.
These Gold workshops are residential and full board and make use of all the time available for practical work during the day and lectures in the evening. Locations are chosen to provide an interesting backdrop for training and the only cost outside of the course fee will be extras such as beverages ordered at the bar. The accommodation is not optional.
We have a reputation of finding great operators as instructors so students have a fantastic opportunity to chat about real life experiences and draw experience from the best.
More details on the Gold syllabus can be found here.
The price of the workshop included the workshop itself, use of equipment AND full board accommodation in the onsite hotel.
The Steadicam Gold workshop is for all skill levels and the only requirement for students is simply that they have camera experience. You may benefit more to have had at least some experience of a Steadicam to gain the most from the training. This could be by attending a Bronze or Silver workshop prior to the Gold Workshop.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
